Project's description


Expert systems represent numeric structure of automate control and adjusting that use a series of knowledge, an operating system, a programming medium, a data base and a series of execution mechanisms that promptly fulfill the commands of the expert system.
Knowledge storage – specific to the domain (like rules and laws), gathered by the expert and associated with the problem.
Data base – Relevant information, historic, statistical data, properties, components, coefficients
Analysis, command – it analyses the rules, laws together with user’s actions for determining the new identification conditions of the possible solutions. The system will react in the domain of the problem founding on the data base and using the entry data from the Final user.
User interface – assures the link between the expert system and the user and it is designed to offer to the user explanations of system’s actions.

Thermal system represents the totality of equipments and parameters of a thermal process that leads to the accomplishment of a heating regime according to the technological conditions and material’s properties that is to be processed.
PS power source it will be realized on the structure of a static converter M3 type which will assure the rotary supply of the thermal system with a continuous adjusting tension.

Heating elements R assures the heat process temperature according to the technological requirements.
Measure amplifiers A1, A2 Heating elements R assures the heat process temperature according to the technological requirements. Measure amplifiers A1, A2 used to amplify the signals provided by the temperature transducers.

The relation between the expert system and the thermal system is done through a logical and physical interface materialized through an algorithm and a hardware component. The relation between the two systems is that expert system determines thermal system because the first is based on knowledge; professional experience (of the human factor that makes it!) and the logical reason, while the second makes itself in the necessary and sufficient infrastructure for existing the relation between the two systems (proper equipments, command elements, measurement apparatus etc.)

An expert system takes over a human problem whose solution can be logically determined through a natural deductive system and codify it with computer’s help, natural system that is based on a series of solid knowledge. Thus it results a software component that interpret the logical solution and transforms it into a coding solution. If this entire process take place in its natural order than the results will be those expected.
