The main project’s purpose is the implementation in Romania of this modern international solution for the command, control and programming of thermal equipments within materials processing for economic rise the bid of the indigene processors of metallic and non-metallic materials, by improving products quality and rising competitively in the precursory period of integration in UE. This will assure stability of their position on intern market and entering with real chances in European profile competition. The project follows the thematic direction – Integrated technologies for industrial applications following knowledge integration, new technologies and production processes in sectorial and intersectorial applications (4.4) aiming the development of an industry based on knowledge. Through the approached technology and the anticipated results the project aligns to the technological platform Advanced materials and technologies (P.T.4) sustaining the reorganization of the traditional sector of material processing, with major implications to the development domain of metallic and non-metallic materials thermal processing in consumers’ goods production and industrial usage. The accomplishment of this project will make possible knowledge integration and new equipments integration in the domain of information technology of industry , with direct application in materials thermal processing (metallic, non-metallic etc.). Thus it can be said that this theme will “dissolve” the technical-scientific frontier between information technology domain and materials thermal processing domain. This theme inscribes between the members objectives and priority to the European Technology Platform on Advanced Engineering Materials and Technologies - www.eumat.org. In project’s process will be implied beside project’s team members also master students, young graduates of Materials Science Faculty who participated to the courses of Furnaces and heating installations, Heat transfer and Thermal installations, with a view to their familiarization with modernizing possibilities of thermal equipments existent Romanian industry.
